In short
There is a market somewhere in Mallorca every day of the week. According to the 2026 calendar of the Govern de les Illes Balears, they include Alcúdia on Tuesday and Sunday, Sineu, Santanyí and Andratx on Wednesday, Inca on Thursday, Santanyí, Cala Rajada and Sóller (craft market) on Saturday, and Felanitx and Sa Pobla on Sunday. Pollença holds its market on Sunday according to the town council.
Key points
- The weekdays come from the 2026 fairs and markets calendar of the Govern de les Illes Balears, last updated on 8 September 2026.
- Wednesday markets include Sineu, Santanyí, Andratx, Capdepera, Petra and Deià.
- Alcúdia has a market twice a week, on Tuesday and on Sunday.
- Inca has its market on Thursday, and from April to October the Govern lists an extra summer market from 8 am to 2 pm.
- Pollença on Sunday and Port de Pollença on Wednesday, both from 9.00 to 13.30 according to Ajuntament de Pollença.
How this list was put together
Many market lists online copy from each other. This page names only weekdays found in an official source: the 2026 Calendar of Fairs and Markets of the Balearic Islands from the Directorate General for Business, the Self-Employed and Trade of the Govern de les Illes Balears. The data are reported by town councils and organisers. The Govern itself notes that dates can change and recommends confirming them with the organiser before you go. For Pollença, which is missing from the calendar, the market day comes from the town council website.
Well known markets that appear in neither source have been left out. That does not mean they do not exist, only that no official record was found for them.

- Monday: Manacor, Calvià, Montuïri, Lloret de Vistalegre, Caimari and Port d'Andratx.
- Tuesday: Alcúdia, Portocolom, Porreres, Campanet, Peguera, S'Alqueria Blanca, Pina, Pla de na Tesa and S'Arenal in the municipality of Llucmajor.

According to Wikipedia the market in Sineu has existed since 1306 and includes a livestock market. Sineu is in the centre of the island, more on the town under towns and villages. Port de Pollença has its market on Wednesday from 9.00 to 13.30 according to Ajuntament de Pollença (checked on 2 October 2026).

In Muro, the Trastorum market takes place on the last Sunday of each month.
Pollença has its market on Sunday from 9.00 to 13.30 according to Ajuntament de Pollença, in Plaça Major and the neighbouring streets (checked on 2 October 2026). Both towns are covered in the guide to Alcúdia and Pollença.
Markets in Palma
In Palma the weekly markets rotate between neighbourhoods. There is also the craft market in Plaça Major. According to the Govern it runs from June until the Christmas market is set up in November, Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm.
Summer and evening markets
Besides the weekly markets, the Govern lists seasonal markets, mostly in the evening. The times come from the 2026 calendar and apply only to the season stated:
- Port d'Alcúdia: June to September, Thursday to Saturday, 6 pm to 10 pm on the seafront promenade.
- Cala Rajada: 1 May to 31 October, crafts on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 7 pm to 11 pm.

Which market suits where you are staying
A market is worth the drive mainly when it is in your region. In the north that means Alcúdia and Pollença, in the north-east Capdepera and Cala Rajada, in the south-east Santanyí and Felanitx, in the centre Sineu and Inca, in the south-west Andratx and Calvià. The map shows where the towns are. A market visit combines well with a day trip in the surrounding area. The Govern points out that the details may change and recommends confirming the date with the town council or the organiser before you go.
